There are 2 types of Bosch stoves: induction and ceramic. A Bosch induction stove heats faster than a Bosch ceramic stove and is relatively safe. The magnets under the cooktop heat the pan, but not the cooktop itself. With a ceramic stove, the cooktop heats with electricity which heats the pan itself.
