The Ring Video Doorbell 4 is a smart doorbell that also shows you what happened before a motion detection. It saves color footage from 4 seconds earlier, so it gives you additional information. Because the doorbell works on a rechargeable battery, installation is very easy. On top of that, this battery lasts a little longer than other Ring models. You can easily set the motion zones of the doorbell. This way, you decide at what time you receive motion notifications. You can communicate with visitors via the Ring app. You'll receive a clear signal via the included Ring Chime when they ring the bell. The close-up motion detection of the Ring 4 can be set up to 1.5m in front of your door. You pay a monthly or annual fee to store the recorded images in the Cloud. Note: you need a Ring Protect subscription if you want to view recorded footage or use person detection. This costs € 3,99 per month.
