The Alecto SA-240 Power Grid 3-Pack contains 3 wired smoke detectors. The advantage of a wired smoke detector is that you use less batteries, and you don't hear annoying beeps. Because you could have a power outage, the smoke detector also has a 9V backup battery. Test the detectors regularly via the test button, so you're sure it works. You can link the detectors, so each detector goes off when 1 detects smoke.
