The controller also connects the smoke detector to other Bosch smart home devices, so you can expand your system later. For example, place the smoke detector in the hallway or on the landing for extra safety at home. Note: this smoke detector doesn't detect carbon monoxide, so it doesn't replace a carbon monoxide detector.
