What's the latest iPad?
In March 2026, Apple released the latest Apple iPad model on the market: the iPad Air (2026). This model has a powerful M4 processor, which allow you to open demanding apps and games without slowdowns. The latest models for the other iPad series are from a while ago. The latest Apple iPad Pro is from 2025, just like the latest starter model Apple iPad. We've been waiting the longest for a new Apple iPad mini: this was last released in 2024.
What's new with these models?
The biggest change with the new Apple iPad Air (2026) is on the inside: this iPad has a powerful Apple M4 chip. With this powerful processor, you can easily perform demanding tasks on your iPad Air. This way, you can work in demanding apps as well as edit photos and light video files. There aren't any other big changes to this iPad Air. You can still choose from an 11 and 13-inch model in 4 different colors: Gray, Blue, Purple, and Starlight.
When will a new iPad model release?
We never know for sure when a new iPad will be released. New Apple iPad Pro models are almost always announced at the end of the year, so we'll have to wait for a while longer. It's also not known when a new generation of Apple iPad mini is coming, unfortunately.
