The heating elements get the characteristic red glow once you switch on the ceramic cooktop. This means that the cooking zone is hot enough to prepare your dish. With an expandable cooking zone, you have space for a large soup pot or a roasting pan. To use this cooktop, you need a 5-pin socket and a 5-pin Perilex plug.
