I returned this laptop, with a heavy heart. The build quality is very good for the price and it has a very nice OLED panel with deep, intense colors and 90Hz.
However, I was looking for a silent laptop (hence the choice for a Ryzen 5 instead of 7) for watching videos and a bit of browsing and unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The processor heats up quite quickly, even when the laptop is not doing anything, and therefore the fan is almost always on. Although not very loud during simple tasks, you still hear it almost continuously. Switching to the 'silent' profile and setting the panel to 60Hz did not help.
Finally, the warm air from the grille is also blown directly onto the right side of the screen instead of backwards from the laptop. This is really a design flaw in my opinion, especially since only one half of the screen gets warm so there could be (in theory at least) a thermal load between the left and right half. I seriously wonder how long that will last.
