Expert review ASUS Zenbook S 14 OLED Copilot+PC

The ASUS Zenbook S 14 is packaged well in 2 boxes. I take the smaller box out of the cardboard box and calmly open it. After that, I can easily take the laptop out of the box as it's lightweight. There are some booklets underneath the laptop. The larger box contains the laptop charger and a useful laptop sleeve. The laptop has 2 USB-C ports, 1 HDMI port, and only 1 USB-A port. If I want to connect many wired accessories, I'll probably need a docking station.

The ASUS Zenbook is a small and lightweight laptop. It only weighs 1.2kg and is 14 inches, so it's easy to take with me. This laptop comes with a laptop sleeve so I can protect it in my bag. The laptop feels sturdy thanks to the aluminum casing. I really like the design of this ASUS laptop. On the lid of the laptop, there are sleek lines that colorfully reflect the light of the ASUS Zenbook logo.

This ASUS laptop has a convenient touchpad. The edges of the touchpad have various functions that I can control with a swipe over the trackpad. For example, I can use the right side of the touchpad to adjust the brightness of the screen. With the left side, I can adjust the volume. I find typing on the keyboard really nice. The keys make a soft clicking sound and the backlight is bright. I can choose from 3 brightness options, so I can even see the lighting well in brightly-lit rooms.

Thanks to the colorful and sharp image, all details look razor-sharp. This Zenbook has a 3K OLED display with DisplayHDR True Black. That way, I don't miss any details on the screen. All colors look vibrant and realistic on the OLED display. I can even see all details well in dark images, like a shadow or starry night sky. That's all thanks to the DisplayHDR 500 support. While editing videos, I can see fast-moving images well thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate.

Thanks to the powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processor, this laptop works very quickly and smoothly. I notice this during everyday tasks, as well as with more demanding tasks like video editing. The Zenbook doesn't slow down, and I can smoothly edit large video files. I can work in multiple programs at the same time quickly thanks to the 32GB RAM. Thanks to the powerful NPU, I can also smoothly edit images in the Copilot+ editing program Cocreator. In addition, I can quickly open a chat with the Copilot+ assistant via the Copilot key on the keyboard.
