I use this laptop for photo editing, data analysis/programming (as a hobby) and occasionally some games. This is a very fast laptop that feels quite solid. Keyboard is nice. The display is very nice; I did have to adjust the colors a bit (saturation down).
What I find extremely annoying is the RGB keyboard. It is not possible to disable this in the BIOS, so on every boot you have to manually disable it with Fn+(down arrow). It's totally unclear to me where this serves. I hope to find a solution for this.
The battery life is quite good (>4 hours), as long as you don't run heavy applications and throw iCUE off. The battery charger is a very heavy thing (225W). I also have a Lenovo P53 for work (certainly not the lightest) and it has a 170W charger. This laptop (Legion) charges fine with that lighter 170W charger, I don't understand why such a heavy charger is supplied with it.
There is no SD card reader in it.
