We call a range hood energy-efficient with an A+ energy label or higher. The most energy-efficient range hoods fall into an A++ energy label. The higher the energy class, the lower your energy costs. For example, a range hood with D energy label costs € 25 more on an annual basis than a model with an A+ energy label. Ensure that you regularly clean your range hood. If the filter is clogged, the energy consumption increases because it takes more effort to exhaust the fumes.
