Pack product for return

Do I have to return my product in the original packaging?

Yes, if you send back your product within the return window. That way, we might be able to make someone else happy. No longer have the original packaging or is it damaged? In that case, we'll look at the condition of your returned product and the packaging to determine what the depreciation might be.

How should I pack my product to return it?

Use sturdy packaging. If you can, use the original packaging. That way, the chances of the product getting damaged are less. No longer have the original packaging? No problem. We'll look at the condition of your returned product and determine what the possible depreciation is based on that.

You can ship the product in a Coolblue box or another box that closes well.

All packed up? Print your shipping label and stick it on the box. You can find it in the email we sent you.

Tip: don't have a printer or can't find a good box? Come to one of our stores. In that case, bringing your product in the packaging is enough.

Where and when can I find my shipping label?

We'll send you your shipping label via email within 1 hour after you've registered your return or repair. Have the barcode in the email scanned at a PostNL point or print it and place it on the box.

Do I have to pay to return my product?

No, that's free. You can pack your product in the original packaging. Send your product in a Coolblue box or a different box that closes well.

Use the shipping label in your email, print it, and stick it on the box. Don't have a printer? Take the box to a post office near you or to one of our stores.

What if I can't print my shipping label?

Have the barcode in the email scanned at a PostNL point. They'll print the shipping label and send your package for free.

What do I have to do before I return my laptop, smartphone, or other data carrier?

When you return your device, we remove your data from it. Make sure you've stored all your data:

  • Back up the data you don't want to lose.
  • Remove accounts from your device by restoring it to the factory settings. You can read how to do this on the information page.
  • Turn off "Find my iPhone". Otherwise, we're not allowed to repair your product.
  • Remove your SIM card from your phone or your SD card from your camera.
