Steps in repair process

What do I have to do to get my product repaired?

Via the store

  1. Take your product to the store in its packaging.
  2. In the store, we'll examine the problem and register your repair.

Via post

  1. Register your repair via the online return form.
  2. Prepare your product for the return journey:
    • Pack it well and sturdily. If possible, use the original packaging.
    • Remove your data and account if necessary.
  3. Print your shipping label or have it scanned at the collection point. You can find it in the email we sent you.
  4. Return the package for free via:
  5. Sit back and keep an eye on the status via My Coolblue.

Do you repair my product at home or do I have to send it in?

This depends on the specific product. We offer different solutions for small products and large products.

  • For most products, we ask you to send the package to us yourself. Pack up the product and send it to us via a nearby PostNL point or via one of our stores for free;
  • For large products, such as white goods, a technician will often come so your appliance doesn't have to be moved.

Do you want to know if a technician is going to come by? We'll always let you know via email after your product has been registered. In addition, you can find out what type of warranty you have on the product page of your product, under 'specifications'. Does it say 'On-site service'? A technician will come by.

Who will repair my product?
  • We repair Apple products ourselves.
  • For other brands and products, we work together with external repair services. If your products is sent to one of these, we'll let you know via email after you've registered.
  • Large products (like white goods and larger TVs) will usually be repaired at your home.

Who will keep me informed about my repair? Coolblue or the repair service?

We'll always keep you informed about your repair. Take a look in My Coolblue and keep an eye on your email for this. If a technician is going to come by for your repair, they'll also contact you.

Do you erase my files during the repairs?

Yes. That's why we asks you to make a backup of your information, to disconnect your account, and to revert it to factory settings where necessary. Read how to do so here.

How do I register my repair?

You can register your repair via the online return form or in the store.

In the store

Take your product with you in its packaging to the store. There, we'll see if we can solve the problem right away. If that doesn't work, we'll send your product for repair. This is faster than by post.

Online

You can do this easily and quickly via the online return form.

Is your product not listed among the orders? You may have logged in with the wrong My Coolblue account. Log in with the email address that you originally purchased your product with.

Can I register extra large products, such as white goods and kitchen appliances, as a repair online as well?

Yes, you can register your repair via the online return request form. A technician will contact you within 48 hours after the registration to make an appointment. Be prepared, the manufacturer may need some more information about your product. Have serial number, error code, and other relevant information ready.

If your product breaks down within the warranty period due to a manufacturing defect, the repair is free of charge. Do you have a washing machine, dryer, or washer dryer combination that isn't covered by the warranty anymore?
